Ambassadors are chosen
through an application process with strong GPA and leadership qualities a must.

Ambassadors are given
distinctive polo shirts with the Science & Technology logo on it to be
recognizable by fellow students.

Ambassadors serve a one or
two year term, depending on whether they came in as a junior or senior and
whether they continue to maintain the eligibility standards.

Ambassadors meet with the
dean of the College monthly to discuss things of interest and/or voice their
concerns to him.

Ambassadors are active in
volunteer activities we coordinate (Relay for Life, Phonathon, Science Fair
Judges, Recruiting a table at Science Fair with Science & Technology
Literature, and Peer mentoring program).

Ambassador training for the
Peer Mentor Program is held in early summer and deals with crisis intervention
and confidentiality issues.

Ambassadors are instrumental
in helping choose their (and others) replacements in the Fall of the year.

Ambassadors are given a
certificate of appreciation and asked to provide written feedback on the
program in a survey manner.
