College of Science and Technology Scholarships

Scholarships are only available to current Southern Miss College of Science and Technology (CoST) students. Departments and the College Committees will make selections for the scholarships listed below. Each year, new scholarships are added and some are no longer funded. Therefore, the amount and number of awards depend on the availability of funds. The amounts and scholarships available are confirmed by the Southern Miss Foundation usually in late spring. For detailed information on the individual scholarships, refer to the University's bulletin on page 61 or the web page
http://www.usm.edu/registrar/catalogs2006/undergraduate/Introduction.pdf .

Many scholarships require a CoST application form available on this web page. Applications will be available in January 2007. The deadline for them is March 15, 2007 with the exception of the Department of Construction which is due March 1, 2007,
All applications must be turned in to LaTandra Cowan, CoST Scholarship Coordinator, located in Bobby Chain Technology room 103. For further information, contact your department or email Latandra.Cowan@usm.edu.
