Also, take some time to learn about the departments and schools that make up the college. Most of them offer opportunities to work with faculty and peers, undergraduate research experiences, scholarships, tutorial assistance, high-quality academic advisement, and a caring, supportive atmosphere. All offer exciting and challenging degree programs. If you are a prospective graduate student, be sure to click on the department that administers the programs in which you are interested. Our doctoral units include the Departments of Administration of Justice, Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Coastal Sciences, Marine Science, and Polymer Science, and interdisciplinary doctorates in Computational Sciences and Science Education are offered by the College of Science and Technology. Master of Science degrees are offered by those units, as well as by the departments of Economic and Workforce Development, Geography and Geology, Physics, Mathematics, and by the Schools of Computing and Construction. All units offer financial assistance in the form of teaching assistantships and research fellowships, and there are additional avenues of support available at both the departmental and university levels.
