College of Science and Technology Student Ambassadors work with Habitat for Humanity:
Student Ambassadors are select undergraduate students that serve as hosts, tour guides, and peer mentors while participating in special meetings with the Dean to share their perspectives about their academic experiences at Southern Miss. Lead by Andre Heath, college ambassadors are selected through a competitive process including consideration of academic success and service activities.
The Habitat for Humanity International’s Construction and Environmental Resources department helps international and U.S. Habitat affiliates build quality houses at the lowest possible cost and specializes in providing information and training on a variety of construction issues such as management and methods, building materials, energy efficiency, healthy indoor air quality, house design, and accessibility.
