Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students

The Community Counseling and Assessment Clinic is accepting referrals of traditional age Southern Miss students (i.e., 18-25) to its Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention College Students (BASICS) program. Referrals are accepted from faculty, staff, and students. BASICS is free of charge and aims to help students prevent the consequences often associated with alcohol use.

Referred students who agree to participate in research associated with the program can earn up to $10 in gift certificates for Barnes and Noble or Starbucks.
