Counseling Services

The Student Counseling Services offers a wide variety of services to Southern Miss students, including individual counseling, group counseling, couples counseling. Outreach and consultations services are available for students, faculty, and staff. Several of the reasons people seek our services include the following: feelings of depression, low self-confidence/self-esteem, feelings of anxiety, fear of failure, inappropriate expression of anger, relationships concerns, sexuality issues, time management, substance use/abuse, coping with past or recent trauma, eating behaviors, grief/loss issues, thoughts of harm to self or others.

The Student Counseling Services can HELP with these and other concerns by providing FREE and CONFIDENTIAL services.

M-F 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Kennard-Washington Hall Room 200

Walk-In Services for Students:

M-F 9:45 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.
