The Lyndon Baines Johnson
Library is open to the public; however, all researchers
are requested to notify the supervisory archivist
in advance of visits. Each researcher is expected
to check on available materials before arriving at
the library. Upon arrival, all researchers are briefed
about procedures. People are allowed to make photocopies
or order photocopies. People can also order copies
of tapes and transcripts. Oral history transcripts
are also available through interlibrary loan by contacting
the LBJ Library archivist. All photocopy and interlibrary
loan requests are subject to restrictions. Researchers
may bring personal compuers, typewriters, paper and
pencil. Researchers may not bring personal photocopiers.

Collections/Interviews:
Lyndon Baines Johnson Oral History Collection
The LBJ Library contains 44 million documents, an extensive
audiovisual collection, and oral history interviews with more
than 1,000 people. An oral history interview with Nicholas
Katzenbach is available for downloading from the LBJ Web site.
Adobe software is needed to download the oral history. Interviews
pertinent to this bibliography are listed below.
