Career Services Contacts & Liaisons
While the Career Services staff serves all academic areas, individual staff members act as points of contact for certain colleges. Our College Liaisons participate in the planning and programming of Career Services and provide more targeted services to students, faculty and staff within their respective areas.
Our Mission Statement:
Career Services, in conjunction with The University of Southern Mississippi faculty and staff, is a team of professionals committed to providing resources, services and opportunities for students, alumni and employers in academic, job related and career endeavors.

Our Services:
Career Counseling
Personalized, one-on-one counseling is available to assist students in understanding more about their personality, interests and values and how this information relates to career areas and majors. Students may schedule an appointment for a career assessment, including the Strong Interest Inventory or FOCUS.
Eagle Employment
This is a free online career center that includes part-time, full-time cooperative education and internship jobs, as well as an alumni mentor network. Students and alumni can also post resumes in the database that can be viewed by employers, search the employer database and view the on-campus interview schedules.
Part-time Employment
Career Services can assist students with all part-time employment needs and refer them to various positions in the following areas:
On-campus jobs (wage and work study), off-campus jobs, temporary jobs, internships and cooperative education.
