Confidentiality

No information about career counseling or other student information will be released TO ANYONE by Career Services staff to anyone without prior authorization, except in the following situations:

1. When there is risk of imminent harm to the student or another person
2. When a court of law orders information be released
3. When there is reasonable cause to suspect that a person is being abused, neglected or exploited
4. If student is involved in a medical emergency, information may be given to medical personnel
   
   

* Career Services counselors and staff do retain the privilege to consult with one another or with counselors at the University Counseling Center about clients for treatment and/or training purposes.
