Fr. Tommy Conway-- 

Fr. Tommy comes from Galway on the
West Coast of Ireland. He was raised
in the village of Newbridge and has 9
brothers, 3 sisters, 31 nieces and
nephews!!

He came to the diocese of Biloxi in
1986 after studying at St. Patrick’s
College in Carlow, Ireland. He was
ordained by Bishop Howze at St.
Patrick’s Church on July 27, 1986
He celebrated his first Mass on July
28, 1986 and the party afterwards
lasted for several days!!!

Since Fr. Tommy has become pastor
in 2000, he has made it his mission to
bring faith to the Catholic Students of
Southern Miss. Fr. Tommy is happy to be
at St. Thomas working with College Students.
He is an avid Golden Eagle fan, and during
the fall and spring, you will most likely find him
on the sidelines of a game if he isn’t in church.
