 Program Evaluation

Program evaluation is one of the most important elements of The Partnership for a Healthy Mississippi's Center for Tobacco Prevention's work and takes many forms. Students complete pretests before receiving any anti-tobacco lessons, then posttests afterwards. Teachers report how their students respond to anti-tobacco lessons. The Center also surveys Coalition leaders and board members about the impact of tobacco prevention in their communities. Program evaluation helps ensure that existing programs continue to be effective and that new programs will be effective.
