We are currently looking for qualified graduate candidates to join our group. The research areas are mainly associated with analytical chemistry, electrochemistry, electroanalytical chemistry, surface chemistry, and bioanalytical chemistry (biosensors). A post-doctoral associate position supported by a recently funded DoD project (2019-2022, 3 years) is immediately available for applying. This person will be responsible for supporting the acquisition, implementation, operation, and training of the funded research and the running of the day-to-day activities of the graduate students. The ideal candidate will transcend the work from Drs. Karl Wallace and Wujian Miao groups, be able to synthesize, to perform characterizations and be proficient in optical spectroscopy (UV-Vis, FL, NMR, FTIR), electrochemical and electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) techniques both in solution and solid phase.
