Marilyn Larmon, Ph.D.

Associate Professor

Dr. Larmon earned her Ph.D. in Elementary Education at U.S.M. in 1995. She taught eight years at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA before coming back to U.S.M.  She is a clinical instructor and teaches both graduate and undergraduate mathematics methods courses. Her research interests include best practices in teaching elementary students in general and best practices in mathematics education.  Dr. Larmon has published chapters in books and articles in peer reviewed journals. She has presented at local, state, national, and international conferences.
