Degree Requirements
The M.Ed. in Educational Administration and Supervision is 34 credit hours of the following coursework. Our online version follows the same course requirements (34 hours minimum) as the traditional program.
EDA 631 - Landscape of Leadership. 1-12 hours. Students will develop their knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the areas of strategic, instructional, organizational, and political/community leadership.
EDA 633 - Principal as Instructional Leader-A. 1-12 hours. Students will demonstrate competency in developing, delivering, and assessing an effective student-centered curriculum.
EDA 635 - Principal As Manager. 1-12 hours. Students will acquire essential skills, knowledge, and dispositions related to leadership in schools as they deal with operational and managerial functions.
EDA 636 - Administrative Internship. 1-12 hrs. Intensive field experience under supervision of practitioner/mentor and university faculty coordinator.
EDA 637 - Principal as Instructional Leader-B. 1-12 hrs. Students will demonstrate competency in developing, delivering, and assessing an effective student-centered curriculum.
