Writing Workshop
Award-winning author of Ecology of a Cracker Childhood Janisse Ray will lead a writing workshop open to all conference attendees and current USM students. This workshop will focus on creating writing; while participant work will not be "workshopped" in the Iowa sense, Ray will teach both tactics and skills relevant to publishing and writing today. She will also be available for questions. This workshop will be a closed section limited to 15 participants who will be accepted on a first come, first served basis beginning Wednesday, February 1st at 4 pm. The workshop itself will be held on Saturday, March 17th from 4:45 - 5:45 pm.
