Clinical Experience:

Clinic Director, University Clinic for Family Therapy, University of Southern Mississippi, Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) graduate program. Responsible for maintaining MFT student academic and clinical files, assigning clinical cases for student therapists-in-training, clinical internship liaison, responsible for daily operations of clinic, monitoring clinic and grant budgets, providing on-site supervision to clinical concerns while working directly with MFT Program Director.

 

Clinical Therapist, Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services, Eating Disorder Program and Alcohol and Drug Program. Intensive Outpatient Program with a room/board component.Treated female patients with dual diagnosis.Conducted individual, family and group therapy sessions in a 12 step based addiction recovery model.Facilitated dual diagnosis process group.Conducted educational lectures to patients and patient’s family members regarding the signs and symptoms of eating disorders.Facilitated recovery maintenance process group.Participated in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings related to case management.

 

Clinical Therapist, Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services, Child and Adolescent Day Treatment Program. Conducted individual and group therapy sessions with females and males ages 5 to 17 experiencing school behavioral problems.Treated patients and their family members experiencing parent/child relational problems in family therapy sessions.
