• Submit the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)" at www.fafsa.ed.gov. (Apply early: Priority Date is March 15 th).
  • Contact the Financial Aid Office at Southern Miss when you receive your Valid Student Aid Report.
  • Students selected for verification by the Federal Aid Program will need to submit additional information.

• Mississippi Resident's may apply for state aid, such as, MS Tuition Assistance Grant (MTAG) and MS Eminent Scholars Grant (MESG) at the MS Office of Student Financial Aid Website www.ihl.state.ms.us/financialaid.

• Submit a Southern Miss Foundation Scholarship application.

Note: New and transfer students for spring semester must complete a spring application.

All students attending the summer semester must complete a summer application.
