• We have begun awarding aid for Fall and Spring of 2008/2009. You can review and accept your award on SOAR. First time aid recipients please review our steps to apply section of our website, to ensure timely processing of your financial aid.

• If your State aid was canceled for spring, you can review your State aid status on line at https://www.ms.gov/sfa/login.do. You had until March 15, 2008 to clear up any deficiency in your eligibility for spring.

• 2007/2008 Summer awards are now being reviewed. Continue to monitor SOAR to view and accept your summer aid package.

• It is a new year and that means it is time to renew your Free Application for Federal Student Aid FAFSA for the 2008-2009 academic year. The application will require your 2007 tax information.

• Mississippi Residents, remember to process your State Aid Application for the 2008-2009 school year.

• Fall 2008-2009 scholarship and application deadlines are rapidly approaching learn more about these deadlines here.

• The Student Center gives students the ability to view and update academic, finance, and personal information in one location in SOAR. You will also be able to see your holds, to do lists, and advisor information.
