The mission of the Office of Budget and Tax Compliance is to:
- plan, develop, and implement the university's annual operating budget for general and auxiliary funds
- request appropriations from the state of Mississippi
- assess availability of resources to implement university wide initiatives
- disseminate this information to the university community, the Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning, and the State of Mississippi Legislative Budget Office
The Office of Budget and Tax Compliance aspires to provide the best information to assist the university community, the governing board and the Legislature in maximizing the financial resources of the university.
