Auxiliadora Arana-Sánchez

Instructor of Spanish

Ms. Arana is a native of Nicaragua. She has a Master of Arts in the Teaching of Languages in Spanish from USM. She teaches all levels of lower-division and intermediate-division Spanish and has a special interest in Spanish for special purposes, particularly in the field of law enforcement and health care. She has served as the director of the undergraduate Spanish summer program abroad in Puebla, Mexico and in Heredia, Costa Rica. She is currently the advisor for Spanish minor and Honor College students at the Gulf Coast Campus.
