Keltoum Rowland is a native of Algeria and France. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching Languages from USM with a dual emphasis in French and TESOL. She coordinates FRE 201-202 and also teaches upper-division courses in conversation and reading. In addition, she serves as a faculty adviser to the USM French Society, whose objective is to promote French language and culture on campus. She has presented at the Mississippi Foreign Language Association and at SCOLT and is currently serving a two-year term as the president of the American Association of Teachers of French for the state of Mississippi.
