Resolution on Yearly Agenda

Be it resolved that at the beginning of each academic year, the Faculty Senate, in consultation with the Faculty Senate President, will identify and adopt one or more major projects to enhance academics at USM. This project(s) should be ambitious, yet tangible and feasible and a project that can be brought to objective completion within that academic year. Further, the Faculty Senate Secretary will then publicize this priority project(s) to all USM faculty, staff, students, and administrators via e-mail, the Student Printz, and any other appropriate media.
