Lansford Serves as Editor for Book Examining International Issues

LONG BEACH, Miss. – Dr. Tom Lansford, academic dean and political science professor for The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast, was the editor for a collected volume of articles entitled The War in Iraq.

Published by Greenhaven Press, the book is part of the series Global Viewpoints which examines international issues from a critical perspective. The 21 essays in The War in Iraq explore how the conflict has affected international relations, the Arab-Israeli conflict, global terrorism and efforts to promote democracy.

Welcome to The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast. The university’s presence on the Coast extends from its site at the Stennis Space Center in Hancock County to the Gulf Park Campus in Harrison County to the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory in Jackson County.
