The Sauce Boss -- Bill Wharton and the Ingredients
One morning in the early 70s, the Sauce Boss walked out of his house and found a 1933 vintage National steel guitar in his front yard. That lead him down the Blues path. Deep in the shed, he penned “Let the Big Dog Eat”, which was featured in Jonathan Demme’s film “Something Wild”. Years later he combined his blues with his hot sauce in a big pot of gumbo, made right on stage. Singing the recipe, he mixed his music and cooking together into a new medium. |

The Steve Warren Band
Born in Gulfport, Mississippi in 1976, Steve started playing guitar around the age of nine, making up his own tunings, and simply playing by ear. He practiced eight hours a day with no formal training, and soon after, began playing professionally. In his personal quest to re-invigorate the blues here in Mississippi, the birthplace of the blues, he influences the genre (and music in general) with fresh, enthusiastic, raw talent. |

The Jerry Ball Jazz & Blues Quintet
If you appreciate improvisation, you will not find a
better group than “The Jerry Ball Jazz & Blues Quintet.” For the blues lover, this group produces a pure alluring sound that represents and respects the original artists. The members of this group are Jerry Ball, saxophone, Willie Willis, vocals and trumpet, Danny Infante, bass, Gene Gaddy, keyboards, and Ray Zanders, drums. You will love the musical virtuosity each person contributes in the expression of a true American art form. |
