Student Responsibility |
It is the primary responsibility of each student taking a course to obtain proctoring services, as required by the instructor. Students must adhere to the policies of the Learning Enhancement Center and communicate in an accurate and timely manner all requests for proctoring services. Application form – All students must first read the rules for Examination by Proctor, including the Student Responsibility section prior to accessing and submitting the application form.
All students must submit the Application for Proctor before any exams are scheduled. Once the application is processed, students are sent an email confirmation of their exam date/time. Deadline for application to LEC office – The proctor specialist should receive a student’s completed application form as early as possible, but no later than fifteen (15) working days prior to the scheduled examination date [nine (9) working days during the summer semester] for your application to be processed and to assure mailing of the exam and materials to the testing center. We will not be able to accommodate proctor requests within 48 hours or less of the scheduled exam date and time. If an application form is received after the stated deadline, it is possible that the exam will be received after the appropriate testing date, thereby affecting the student’s grade. Additionally, the processing fee for late exams will be $40 per exam and $60 per exam, if outside the U.S. (See “Fees Associated with a Proctored Exam” of Item 6 for more information about proctor fees). ODA registered students -- Please coordinate with your instructor their requirements for exams, prior to scheduling proctored exams. The instructor must contact the proctor prior to testing to coordinate delivery and return of all testing materials. There is NO proctoring fee for ODA students.
