- Monthly Meetings
The USM-AFS Student subunit holds monthly meetings to discuss upcoming events and eat pizza. Meetings are held in the Caylor Building, usually mid-month. Details are provided each month via the GCRL-student email list. Meeting minutes are available below.

USM-AFS and MEGSA proudly present our second annual Jim Franks Merry Fishmas Fun Run and Food Drive. This student-organized event raises funds for the AFS chapter and collects food donations for a local shelter. Details and a poster are here. - Coastal Conservation Association Casting for Conservation event, August 2011. USM-AFS members provided extensive volunteer support for this event.
