I am interested in applying quantitative methods, geospatial analysis, computer programming, and field studies in a systematic way to understand questions in Ecology and Environmental Science. Central to my lab’s current research is our efforts to understand coastal land cover/land use change (including urban area and coastal wetland), resilience of coastal environment to natural and anthropogenic disturbance, hydrological and biogeochemical cycles at forest ecosystems, and species distribution.
