Sport Fish Studies - Sand Seatrout
- This year we will begin to assess Mississippi's sand seatrout (white trout) population using the same methods implemented for spotted seatrout.
- Sand seatrout will be tagged and held in cages as part of the hook/release mortality study to determine if this species is a viable candidate for a tag/release program.
