BWET Stewardship Summit
May 18-19, 2012
The Stewardship Summit is a two-day event held at the end of the school year. It provides a means for teachers and students from many schools to gather together and progress from understaning watershed processes to acting responsibly to protect, conserve, and restore watersheds. Teachers and students spent a full day exploring the concept of coastal stewardship through presentations, games, small group activities, and discussion. Groups from St. Stanislaus College and Blackburn Middle School attended the 2012 Stewardship Summit. We look forward to hosting those groups again at the 2013 event and increasing participation to include several other schools.
