Summer Camps & Field Programs
Note: A full program will be offered again in 2013. Details will be posted later this fall. In the mean time, 2012 program details are provided for reference.
GCRL offers summer camps and field experiences for students from elementary school to undergraduate school and adults, too.
- Sea Camp - marine science day camp for ages 6-13
- Summer Field Program - four-term summer program enables college students to earn up to 18 semester hours of credit.
- Coastal Sciences Camps - two-day sessions that provide an opportunity for students in grades 4–12 to experience firsthand the coastal ecosystems of Mississippi through classroom and field activities
- Spring Mini-Session - The mini-session is a great opportunity for college students to gain knowledge marine and coastal sciences in an intensive field and laboratory oriented learning atmosphere.

Weather Postponements: Outdoor programs are dependent on weather and will be postponed if conditions are excessively uncomfortable or dangerous.
