2015 Summer Camps
Fish everyday. This program introduces young people in grades 7 through 12 to fishing in the diverse waters of coastal Mississippi. The five-day camp includes sessions on the water, in the lab, and in the kitchen, as students learn everything from tying a hook on a line to finding and catching fish to cleaning and cooking their catch.
Saltwater Fly Fishing
Take your fishing experience to a new level. Learn the basics of saltwater fly fishing in the Mississippi Sound. Participants will learn how to rig a fly rod and reel, cast, tie knots, and tie their own flies. Our educators will teach you where to look for fish and how to surf fish, sight cast, and successfully land saltwater species.
July 20-22 for grades 7 - 12. Fee is $300.
