Sea Camp

Sea Camp 2011 at GCRLFor 27 years, Sea Camp has been the Coast's most popular marine science day camp for children in grades 1 through 6. This year, Sea Camp is offering two sessions covering different topics. Sea Camp I: The Loop Current. Sea Camp II: Habitats of the Gulf

Shark Fest

Shark Fest summer camp on the Mississippi Gulf CoastVisit the top shark fishing hotspots around the Barrier Islands aboard a research vessel. Catch and tag sharks to contribute to ongoing scientific research.

Angler Camp

Angler Camp Fest summer camp on the Mississippi Gulf CoastFish everyday. This program introduces young people in grades 7 through 12 to fishing in the diverse waters of coastal Mississippi. The five-day camp includes sessions on the water, in the lab, and in the kitchen, as students learn everything from tying a hook on a line to finding and catching fish to cleaning and cooking their catch.

Saltwater Fly Fishing Camp for grades 7 - 12 on the Mississippi CoastSaltwater Fly Fishing

Saltwater Fly Fishing Camp on the Mississippi Gulf CoastTake your fishing experience to a new level. Learn the basics of saltwater fly fishing in the Mississippi Sound. Participants will learn how to rig a fly rod and reel, cast, tie knots, and tie their own flies. Our educators will teach you where to look for fish and how to surf fish, sight cast, and successfully land saltwater species. Read more about
