Katrina counselors recharge at GCRL
Dr. Shelia Brown, left, interim administrator of the J.L. Scott Marine Education Center in Ocean Springs, introduces Ray Gannett of New London, Ohio, to coastal invertebrates on a nature walk at the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory March 7-9. Gannett, a volunteer from God's Katrina Kitchen in Gulfport, was one of nearly 100 participants in a retreat for family counselors and caseworkers involved in Katrina recovery.
