Research Interests

Most of my career has been spent focused upon human geography. Early aspects were mostly concerned with place and landscape change. Mid-way in my career, I turned most of my attention to developing study abroad programs in Europe and eventually created the USM British Studies Program, which is now one of the largest in the world and continues to grow after twenty-five years in operation. During the past five years I have written three books on the British Isles and London.
