Graduate Student Research Symposium

The Graduate Student Research Symposium offers an opportunity for participants to hear paper presentations of scholarly research from various disciplines of undergraduate and graduate study. The graduate student participants will make paper presentations and discuss their research with other students, faculty, and guests. The top ranked papers in each college will be eligible for monetary awards as well as publication in the 2010 Symposium Proceedings.

The Graduate School and the Graduate Student Senate will sponsor the 2010 Graduate Student Research Symposium on Friday March 26, 2010 in the Thad Cochran Center. For additional information or questions please email the Graduate School at graduateschool@usm.edu or call 601-266-4369.

Deadline for submission of departmental nominations is Friday January 29, 2010 by 5 p.m.

Abstract Form
Interested students can download the 2010 abstract submission form here. Submissions should be made to your respective department/school. To find out more about departmental deadlines, please contact your respective department/school Director of Graduate Studies or Graduate Student Senate representative.
