Submit Dissertation Prospectus Approval Form and Admission to Candidacy Form to Graduate Degree Auditor

Submit Contact Graduate Reader Form www.usm.edu/graduatestudies

*Submit title page to graduate reader for approval. Title page must be approved by the graduate reader before it is signed by the committee. Final approval signatures must be in black ink .

*Submit results of Oral Defense of Thesis or Dissertation Form to the Graudate Studies Office by the committee chair. A copy of the title page of thesis or dissertation must be filed also if the student successfully defends the thesis or dissertation.

*Submit thesis or dissertation to the graduate reader for proofing and final approval. FINAL SIGNED TITLE PAGES DUE!

*Submit final 3 copies of dissertation to the Graduate Studies Office.

*Submit final 3 copies of thesis to the Graudate Studies Office

*Commencement Green Coliseum 1:30 or 6:30 pm (please see www.usm.edu/graduatestudies for details.)

*Submit comprehensive exam results form for master's and specialist's students NOT writing a thesis.

Submit change of grade forms for "I" grades.

*No exceptions to the deadlines will be permitted

**August graduates may participate in the December ceremony
