2007 - 2008 Graduate Faculty Members

    Graduate faculty are elected by the Graduate Council upon recommendation by the department or school chairs and the academic deans. Graduate faculty may be granted regular or associate status. Regular graduate faculty may be granted one of three levels that differ in responsibilities. Regular level 1 graduate faculty may teach graduate courses in their specialization and serve as members of master’s and specialist’s committees only and may not chair any committees. Regular level 2 graduate faculty may teach graduate courses in their specialization, serve and/or chair master’s specialist’s committees, and may serve on doctoral committees. Regular level 3 graduate faculty may teach graduate courses in their specialization, serve and/or chair master’s, specialist’s, and/or doctoral committees. Graduate faculty granted regular 1, 2, and 3 status are reviewed every five years for renewal. Associate graduate faculty are appointed on an annual basis and may teach graduate courses in their specialization and/or serve on master’s, specialist’s and/or doctoral committees.
