Volunteer Recognition Ceremony, Armed Forces Retirement Home

Gulf Coast Phi Alpha Theta members Charlie Carlee (President) and Hayley Whitehead accept a certificate of appreciation at the annual Volunteer Recognition ceremony at the Armed Forces Retirement Home on May 29, 2014. For the last three years, Gulf Coast members of Phi Alpha Theta have been visiting the Assisted Living unit of the Armed Forces Retirement Home in December to visit with residents, decorate Christmas stockings, and wrap presents. Phi Alpha Theta is the international honors society for history majors.

Several members of Phi Alpha Theta (National History Honor Society) visited the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport on November 22, 2013, visiting resident of the assisted living area, wrapping presents and decorating holiday stockings.
