100 Men Hall
Students from Dr. Doug Bristol's African-American History class and Dr. Beth LaFleur's Marketing Research class at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast conducted oral histories to document the history of The 100 Men Hall. The 100 Men Hall served as a gathering place for the African-American community since 1922. It also provided a venue for black and white residents to enjoy performances by such legends as B.B. King, Chuck Berry, and James Brown.
