Half the required courses will be in history and half in political science and international development. All courses will be offered in the late afternoon or evenings.

This degree provides graduates with the basic credential to teach both history and political science at the community college level. Secondary educators who finish this degree are eligible for AA Certification from the Mississippi Department of Education.
