Dr. Green's academic background includes a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Administration (Summa Cum Laude), an M.B.A. with a Marketing emphasis, a M.S. in Instructional Technology, and a Ph.D. in Human Capital Development.
Professional Accomplishments and Honors
Dr. Green developed the business-education partnership instructional model, iPASS®, trademarked by The University of Southern Mississippi in 2011 for its casino, hospitality and tourism program.
She has presented professional papers in international and national conferences in education and campus recreation marketing. She was the 2010 College of Business nominee for the University’s Innovation Award for her work in business-education partnerships. Dr. Green was the recipient of the University’s 2012 Exemplary Online Course award, and the College of Business, 2011 Business Advisory Council Teaching Service award. In 2000, Dr. Green received a National Service Award from the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association for her pioneering work in campus recreation marketing.
Evelyn’s research interests include human capital development, online education, casino management, international development, tourism, and campus recreation marketing.
