Master's of Professional Accountancy Degree
Advantages
As required by the State of Mississippi, 150 credit hours are needed to sit for the CPA exam. Completion of the MPA program, coupled with most accredited undergraduate accounting degrees will fulfill the requirements to take the CPA exam.
Beta Alpha Psi
Southern Miss also has an active Beta Alpha Psi chapter. By being accepted into the MPA program, a student is automatically eligible to pledge and become a member.
