Guidelines

  • All publications and promotion of the event must use the proper name for the facility and for the University. 
  • Rearrangement, removal, or addition of furnishings or equipment to the facilities will require pre-approval of Event Services.
  • Individuals/Organizations are required to pay expenses incurred for damage to the facility, furniture, equipment and/or cleanup following an event.
  • Individuals/Organizations may also be subject for fees associated with additional personnel costs, equipment, and supplies needed in support of the event.
  • Tape will not be not allowed on walls, floors, or carpet in the facilities.
  • An open flame will not be not allowed on campus or in the facilities.
  • Food and beverages are allowed in the facility in accordance with university policies.  Individuals/Organizations must notify the Event Services that food and beverage will be served to allow for adequate set-up and clean-up time.
  • Temperature controls must be changed by Event Services staff.
  • Individuals/Organizations may not load software onto computers or attempt to circumvent computer security.  Violation of this policy may result in denial of future requests to use a computer lab.  Losses incurred because of this violation will be charged to the individual/organization.
  • The university is not responsible for loss of data to viruses, computer malfunctions, or other reasons in a computer lab.
  • In the event of a fire alarm, the individual/organization should not attempt to turn off controls.  Alarms ring directly to the fire department.
  • University Police will open and close the facility.
