  • Introduction to Film Studies (FLM 170) Mon 6:30 p.m. - 9:15 p.m., is an introductory course on the film art form and how functions in films of various types and cultural perspectives.
  • Filmmaking I (FLM 351) Tue/Thu 11a.m.-12:15p.m., an introduction to the equipment, practices and techniques of 16mm film production.
  • Film History (FLM 370) Thu 6:30-9:15 p.m., this course combines text, lecture, discussion and screenings to trace the first 50 years of motion pictures.
  • Advanced Cinematography (FLM 471/571) Tue/Thu 2:25 p.m. - 3:40 p.m., advanced instruction and practical production experience in 16mm motion picture cinematography; capstone course for radio-television-film majors in film emphasis; completion of senior portfolio required.
  • Film Business and Management (FLM 475) Wed 5:10-7:55 p.m., study of the business practices and problems involved in film production.
  • Seminar in Film (FLM 478/578) Tue 6:30 p.m. - 9:15 p.m., examination of a film topic. May be repeated with a different topic or combined with FLM 448 for a total of six hours.
