M.Ed. in Education - Educational Administration and Supervision
The Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision is the degree of choice for individuals who wish to become administrators and eductional leaders in P-12 schools and districts. The program is offered in a four-semester, 34 semester-hour, cohort design in either a totally online or hybrid format and includes an internship. 1. Online Cohorts are admitted each spring. Instruction is delivered online through virtual classrooms. Instructors also hold virtual office hours. Internships are completed at school sites. This option is ideal for students who reside out-of-state and/or beyond a reasonable driving distance from campus. 2. Hybrid Cohorts are admitted each summer. During fall and spring semesters, instruction is delivered online through virtual classrooms. Instructors hold virtual and on-campus office hours. Internships are completed at school sites. Students attend face-to-face classes on the Hattiesburg campus for three weeks each summer. |

Scholarship Information for Mississippi Students The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning in Mississippi established the Graduate Teacher and the Counseling and School Administration Loan/ Scholarship Program (GTS). The program was designed as an incentive to encourage current licensed classroom teachers in Mississippi's public schools to pursue an advanced degree in education. Important Dates Application Period: January 1 - March 31 Document Deadline: March 31 These dates are important as the number of awards and recipients are dependent upon available funds and awards are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. |
