Loan Processing
If you have never received a Federal Direct Stafford Loan but plan on doing so for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year, you must complete Entrance Loan Counseling and a Master Promissory Note online at www.studentloans.gov.
Verification
If you were selected for verification, you are encouraged to submit all the necessary documents in a timely manner. For 2012-2013, you must submit an IRS Tax Transcript. There are three ways you may Order a Tax Transcript.
Pell Grants
Due to a change in federal regulations, additional Pell Grants will no longer be available for the summer semester. You will only receive a Pell Grant in the summer if you did not receive your full eligibility in the fall and spring semesters.

State of Mississippi Deadline for HELP Scholarship as well as other scholarships for specific majors (April 30 is the deadline for supporting documentation.)
