The office has information about scholarships, grants, loans, and veterans’ educational benefits. The office operates under the auspices of the federal, state, and institutional regulations for the respective programs.

Applying for Spring Financial Aid (New and Transfer Students Only)

If you are a new or transfer student for the spring semester and wish to be considered for federal financial aid, learn how to apply.

Loan Processing

If you have never received a Federal Direct Stafford Loan but plan on doing so for the 2015-2016 school year, you must complete Entrance Loan Counseling and a Master Promissory Note online at

If you were selected for verification, you are encouraged to submit all the necessary documents in a timely manner. Missing verification documentation could delay financial aid processing.  If you are required to submit an IRS Tax Return Transcript, you may print one directly from the IRS website.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid for 2016-2017 is available online beginning Jan. 1, 2016.

Apply for Foundation Scholarships for 2016-2017.  The deadline to apply is February 1, 2016.  You may apply online at

Apply for 2016-2017 scholarships from the State of Mississippi.  Several scholarships have a March 31, 2016 deadline.
