The office has information about scholarships, grants, loans, and veterans’ educational benefits. The office operates under the auspices of the federal, state, and institutional regulations for the respective programs.

Loan Processing
If you have never received a Federal Direct Stafford Loan but plan on doing so for the 2013-2014 school year, you must complete Entrance Loan Counseling and a Master Promissory Note online at

If you were selected for verification, you are encouraged to submit all the necessary documents in a timely manner.  If you are required to submit an IRS Tax Return Transcript, click here to see the various ways to obtain the document.

Key dates for students enrolling for the 2014-2015 year:

January 1, 2014

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid for 2014-2015 is available online beginning Jan. 1, 2014.

Complete the Foundation Scholarship Application on SOAR.  Deadline is March 15, 2014.

Apply for 2014-2015 scholarships from the State of Mississippi.  Several scholarships have a March 31, 2014 deadline.
