Individuals in this program are usually retired Vietnam Era veterans. There are different categories, but usually the service-member had entered service before July 1, 1977. Monthly benefits are based on the enrollment status, the number of family members, and the enrollment status of the dependents. New Students: VA Form 22-1990 and DD-214 (if applicable) Transfer Students: VA Form 22-1995 and DD-214 (if applicable)
