Vision
Faculty, students, and staff within the College of Education and Psychology collaborate to generate, disseminate, and apply knowledge to improve the lives of individuals, families, and communities. Building on our distinctive heritage as a normal college, we expand our influence through creative, bold and determined actions in a culturally diverse, global community.
Mission
The College of Education and Psychology is dedicated to the delivery of high quality academic programs in the areas of Child and Family Studies; Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education; Educational Leadership and School Counseling; Educational Studies and Research; Instructional Technology; Library and Information Science; and Psychology. Students develop knowledge and skills through exposure to exemplary teaching research, and professional service. The College contributes to the mission of the University through all aspects of scholarship that promote academic success; enhance the image of the College; foster community relationships and involvement; and create healthy minds, bodies, and campuses.
