RESEARCH

My research interests are centered on the application of education research that deals with how best to teach science to undergraduates. I strongly feel that undergraduate science teaching must take a student centered approach, as opposed to the traditional teacher centered approach. The student centered approach, with proper instructor guidance, allows students to experience the joy of scientific knowing by being more deeply involved in their own learning.
