The Katrina Research Center (KRC) digital collection consists of still images documenting the Gulf Coast prior to Hurricane Katrina and the destruction following the storm. The KRC preserve photographs that were captured by professional and amateur photographers whom were highly conscious of the coast history and the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

The Katrina Research Center continues to add images into the digital archives included additional electronic media such as moving images, and government publications. We encourage online guests to continue to visit our website to look for additional collection updates.
